Georgia Tech Volleyball Earns Highest Ranking in School History
The Georgia Tech volleyball team has moved up to No. 15 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I Coaches Poll, the highest ranking in program history. The Jackets were previously ranked No. 18 in the poll.
Undefeated Start to Season
Georgia Tech has started the season with a perfect 7-0 record, including wins over three ranked opponents: No. 23 Florida, No. 24 Purdue, and No. 25 Oregon. The Jackets are also 2-0 in ACC play.
Strong Attack and Defense
The Jackets' success this season has been fueled by a strong attack and defense. Georgia Tech ranks among the top 25 in the nation in both hitting percentage (14th) and blocks per set (13th).
Key Players
Several players have been key contributors to Georgia Tech's success this season, including:
