The alleged source of the issue is the Falcon Sensor, a lightweight security tool that blocks attacks on systems according to the company.
CrowdStrike engineers say they are working on the issue, but in the meantime, users can navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory and delete the file C-00000291.sys to resolve the problem.
